Hey there, my name's Jemma!
A few things about me: I'm naturally creative, an avid writer, reader, baker and pottery maker.
And I'm thrilled to meet you! (I'm sure)
I am currently working as a copywriter, however, I also have experience with content writing, SEO, social media management and research projects.
So here's a small taste of what I've been up to.
First and foremost, I am an avid writer and a passionate creator.
Collaborative by nature, I thrive in a team environment but have also proven highly capable in the ability to lead and execute successful projects, whether this is digital, social or research-based.
I have developed highly-specialised writing skills through 2 years of copywriting experience, as well as a further 3 years of content writing experience. This allows me to conjure engaging and highly-tailored copy and content no matter what the situation calls for.
I also have experience both creating and managing social media strategies for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram, as well as ideating and writing the content and posted.
For Java Cuzzies, I was lucky enough to build the brand identity from scratch, developing the tone of voice, strategising the content and building an engaged audience from nothing.
When it comes to longer form content, I am adept as well. I have experience writing everything from website copy, to email campaigns, to blogs and to 30,000 word eBooks. I have done this for a range of different topics and brands, and can ensure all copy is SEO optimised to reach and engage the right audiences.
Outside of socials, I am confident in going above and beyond my role and leading projects. In my role at TapIn, I have served as the Research Lead for our ground-breaking #ThisIsBlackGenZ research project, which aims to change the future of work for the next generation of young black talent.
I have also led workshops based on our other Diversity and Inclusion based research projects, breaking down our findings and illustrating how they could be used to transform modern workplaces.
Phew, that was a lot.
What I'm trying to convey is no matter the task at hand, I tackle it with creativity, knowledge, passion and a meticulous eye for detail.
